Southwest Florida Golf Courses
Whether you’re just a duffer or a semi-pro, you will find some world class golf courses in Southwest Florida. Usually, the most prestigious courses are found in gated, deed restricted communities surrounded by upscale homes and villas. You will, however, also discover many links open to the public for very affordable fees.
Play golf 12 months of the year, however Golf in Florida is seasonal with the rates higher in the winter and lowest in the summer. With the afternoon showers and warmer temperatures in the summer, golfers hit the greens early in the day. In the winter, you need to call for reservations everywhere.
With nearly 100 courses in Sarasota County and over 60 in Charlotte County, there is a course for every level of player.
