Serenoa Golf Club
What makes the Serenoa Golf Club unique is that the course designer, Mark Alden, incorporated the natural hills and hammocks into the course along with a water feature on every hole. His innovative approach made the challenging course play like a much longer course.
This magnificent community is east of I-75 off the Clark Road exit and in its own private setting of lakes and nature preserves.
Even though the homes were built in the mid-1990s, the superior workmanship is evident in the sprawling estates. Most of the homes have four to six bedrooms, perfect for a growing family. You’ll also find amenities like fireplaces, swimming pools, game rooms, libraries, offices and more in the larger homes. Spanish Mediterranean style with the barrel tile roofs is the norm with many homes having three-car side entry garages.
Naturally, the sheer size of these homes requires at least a half-acre lot. Top home builders like Arthur Rutenberg, Todd Johnston and John Cannon added their stroke of architectural elegance to these executive homes. Prices here are in the $500,00 0 to just under a million range. Lakeview Elementary, Sarasota Middle and Riverview High Schools serve this area, and the closest shopping is along Clark Road. However, you are right next to I-75 and can easily take that route to go downtown or to Tampa and Fort Myers.
