Amberlea

Located on the sought-after south side of Sarasota, Florida is a pristine community called Amberlea.  It’s placement between Highway 41 and Interstate 75 means that it is close to everything: shopping, fine dining, entertainment, hospitals, downtown and the airport.  But residents of Amberlea don’t feel the hustle and bustle of being in the middle of all of that – instead, the Amberlea community provides privacy and peace in the form of a beautiful family community.  Possibly the best part about its location is that it’s in the Ashton school district, one of the best school districts in the county. 

Amberlea is home to mature palm and citrus trees, and the multiple ponds house tranquil wildlife like turtles, birds, fish and ducks.  While driving through the friendly community, you will see children at play and homeowners jogging or strolling along the meandering roads along the neighbor’s homes.  The yards and common areas are well manicured and the oversized lots ensures that homes don’t have that “crammed in” look that a lot of the newer communities have overlooked.  

The homes in Amberlea are all single family residences of varying architectural styles.  Most were built in the 80’s and 90’s, with a sprinkling of newer homes.  The range of styles is due mostly to the fact that the homes in Amberlea are custom built – no spec homes here!  Amberlea is a very peaceful community and a wonderful place to call home!
