Burns Court Step back in time with these Mediterranean townhomes, listed on the National Historic Register. Located in the heart of downtown Sarasota, the original Burns Court residences were built in 1926, but have been completely renovated and more units have been added. This gives the units and the grounds an antique feel, although they are clean and new. The courtyard has a heated pool and spa, a firepit grill, garden and fountain. Burns Court is a very exclusive community – only 23 residences total.
These units are very upscale and the property value is escalating consistently. The townhomes themselves are 2 or 3-stories and include private elevators and enclosed garages. Each unit is different, but most have luxurious interior features like granite countertops, hardwood floors and stainless appliances. Burns Court is truly a step above the rest.
Since Burns Court is right in the middle of downtown, the residents can walk or bike to the bay front, theaters, restaurants, shopping and the library. Downtown Sarasota is a great area of the city. It’s cleaner than most city’s downtown areas and has a great arts community. Historic Burns Court Cinemas is located just a block away and screens a wide array of films including foreign and independent pieces.
If you’re looking for the stylish home in the middle of downtown, look no further than Burns Court. It is truly an exquisite way to live!
