Cedar Hollow
Cedar Hollow is an affordable community of about 225 homes, mostly Florida ranch style. Most of them have a one-car garage, but all are on spacious lots so you have plenty of room to park an RV or boat.
Cedar Hollow homes range from 2 bedroom, 2 bath to a few with 4 bedrooms and a pool. All the lots are large so adding a pool should be easy. Prices are very attractive here with some properties under $200,000.
There are no deed restrictions and no homeowner’s association for those who prefer an unrestricted area. You do, however, have underground utilities, which makes the area more attractive.
David McNabb developed the neighborhood in 1984 when he transformed an orange grove into Cedar Hollow. Now the landscaping is all mature and offers more land than you will find in most new su bdivisions.
Families love the community for its friendliness and convenience to schools, shopping, restaurants and medical facilities.
Located off Honore Avenue south of Fruitville Road, this area is a great location for working families or retirees since it has modest prices and doesn’t run up your gas bill if you work in Sarasota.
