Southpointe Shores
Spectacular views of Sarasota Bay make Southpointe Shores a prized location. You’ll find this community west of US 41 and south of Stickney Point Road in Sarasota.
Though many of the single family homes were built nearly 50 years ago, a good number of the older ranch style residences have been completely renovated or torn down to make way for newer, larger homes. The waterfront properties especially have experienced a rebirth. Home prices run from $300,000s without waterfront to over $3 million for bayside property.
Within this area of about 100 homes, you have a choice of bayside, canalfront or interior locations. All the property owners have access to the neighborhood park and boat ramp. Once launched, you have easy access to the Gulf of Mexico or the protected Intracoastal Waterway with no bridges, ideal for sailboats. You can easily take a day excursion or sail beyond the horizon.
Just across the bay Siesta Key and its white sandy beaches are only a few minutes away, and all your daily needs are close at hand. Shopping is just outside the entrance, and an array of restaurants is just outside the community. For more events, head to downtown Sarasota, only 15 minutes north.
