Boaters have miles of open water to enjoy before heading out into the Gulf of Mexico. Both the Myakka and the Peace River empty into Charlotte Harbor adding even more boating possibilities. You can travel for miles on the Intracoastal Waterway or just take a short trip to a barrier island.
