Southwood
Gated, maintenance free Southwood is tucked away next to the Plantation Golf and Country Club south of Venice on US 41. Mediterranean style homes with barrel tile roofs add a special charm to the neighborhood.
Several pretty lakes dot the community providing peaceful views and endless bir d watching. Streets here are named for often tree names like Peppertree, Orangetree and Southern Pine.

Prices here are moderate with little turnover in the homes. Being so close to shopping, beaches, I-75, the library, and golf courses, homeowners tend to stay so there is little turnover in the market.
